Specimen growing on hard wood or lignicolous habit and growing in group or connate (base fused).

Macroscopic Description

Pileus conchate to flabelliform, virgate disc, decurved to straight margin, moist to viscid, smooth surface, soft texture, reddish brown color. Hymenophore smooth, dry, moist, jelly texture, sessile and stipe absent, pinkish cream color. Odor none.

Microscopic Description

Basidiospores 11–14 µm length × 4–5 µm width, phaseoliform, ornamentation, smooth, thin walled, color in KOH3%, hyaline in water and inamyloid in Melzer’s reagent. Basidia 25–41 µm length × 4–6 µm width, cylindrical, smooth, septate, ornamentation, thin walled, hyaline, colorless in KOH3%, inamyloid in Melzer’s
reagent. Basidioles 25–41 µm length × 3–6 µm, cylindrical, smooth, septate, ornamentation, thin walled, hyaline, colorless in KOH3%, inamyloid in Melzer’s reagent. Abhymenial hairs composed of gregarious 30–50 µm length × 8–15 µm width, cylindrical to ventricose shape, flexuous, forked on apex, perpendicular, thick walled and segment of hyphae separated by septa, smooth, thick-walled, hyaline to brown in water, inamyloid in Melzer’s reagent, colorless in 3%KOH. Pileus Trama composed of gelatinous layer, interwoven hyphae, generative present, branched hyphae, segment of hyphae separated by septa, some of hyphae eccentric, smooth, thin-walled, colorless in 3%KOH, hyaline in water and inamyloid in Melzer’s reagent.
